Something about Red Lipstick and a Black Dress

Red Lipstick and a Black Dress are my best friends these days.  When I pair the two you can't tell me nothing.

This sign says it all " On a Bad Day there is always Lipstick ".  

You may wonder how I became a Lipstick Blogger.  I'm certain that you have heard of many types of bloggers i.e. Fashion, Travel and even Food Bloggers but never Lipstick right.  Please know it was also new for me too... I wanna say I may be the only or first one.

About two years ago, I found my myself unhappy everyday.  I couldn't even tap into my list of hobbies.  I was totally determined to find happiness again.... not knowing that it would come in the smallest package -- Lipstick.  What would happen is that when I wore lipstick.. women would always ask me " What Lipstick are you wearing?".   It was so bad that I would always have to stop and write the name of the Lippie down on a sheet of paper.  That's how I became Whatsthatlippie.  That's when I realized that maybe I should share my love for lipsticks with others. I learned that lipsticks made me happy, smile and love myself more. So why don't you inspire other women to Embrace them too.....

Now.... let's talk about this Black Dress.  Eloquii is my number one choice for plus size clothing.  This company is the best....they think about all personalities when creating their clothing concepts. It's proven because I have my own style of fashion and this my fourth dress from them.   Let's just say they are BAE!!!!!

I told my mother just yesterday that this is going to be my Every Event Black Dress.  Church on Sundays, Funerals, and ALL Black Parties you will see me in the dress.  You can't go wrong with a Black Lace Dress -- it's so comfortable and pretty on me.... I fell in love with it on their website. I instantly knew it was for me and I never hesitated to purchase it.  I'm just that shopper that has waits until it goes for 60% off.

I never questioned that RED would be the color that I accessorized with, and by the way I scooped these pumps from my local Goodwill.  Yes you read it correctly.... 6 bucks at the Goodwill.

Thanks Eloquii for making pretty pieces for us curvy girls. You make it easy for me to look and feel beautiful. Also thanks for all the sales, I just got 3 dresses for $60.... you can't beat that with my lipstick sign..... You are BAE!!!!!!!!!Love ya!!!!!!!!!!

Why Tootsie?

To be totally honest with you I don't know why Tootsie. However I do know that Coloured Raine's Matte Lip Paint Tootsie has stolen my heart.

Let's just say for night time and fall -- this lippie is my "Everyday, Go To, and Always Grab" type of lipstick.  Tootsie at times have me not wanting to wear my other vamp lipsticks because it is so comfortable, dark, and lovely.

Let's see what Coloured Raine's website tells us about tootsie before I add my two cents.

Just whatthatlippie's opinion.....
Tootsie is a total comfort zone shade for any Woman of Color (WOC) no matter what shade of Melanin God blessed you with.  Although I prefer to wear this shade at night or during the fall and winter months it's an anytime of the day or year lipstick.  If you are nervous about wearing lipstick, please try Tootsie first, she will make you understand why I love her so much.   Currently I'm the owner of 90 lipsticks and you better know I grab for her once a week.

My best friend Marc teases me about "Coloured Raine Tootsie"...it's something about Tootsie that he's loves to see me wear it. Maybe it's just how it sounds when I say in my "Lippie of the Days?"

I don't know if I convinced you to try tootsie yet, but I promise that it will be known as one of your favorite lipsticks...... Just ask my friends Carmeeka, Erica, Tara and Ms. Susie they are Tootsie Fans too.  Thank you Coloured Raine for making the prefect shade just for me... Love ya.
